I had used Precision Garage Door in the past and was very impressed with their work. Yesterday I had made a "Panic" call to them because the large garage door broke and I couldn't close it. They were so comforting scheduling me right away for a technician to come out and repair it. The young man, Luke, was very knowledgeable in what needed to be done and he worked feverishly to not only fix the problem, but repair it to a new garage door...changing the worn out bearings, rollers, springs, cables. He was very polite and respectful. I highly recommend this Company to anyone needing their Garage door fixed. And I personally want to thank Luke for his expertise and getting me out of a Panic Jam.

Precision had replaced the springs and some parts in the garage door about 2 yrs. ago and did excellent job. This time the opener died and they replace it with a new belt driven drive which is very quite. James, the technician was very cordial and helpful. He answered all my questions and did a very nice clean up job. Would recommend them for any of your garage door needs.

From the person answering the phone, to the appointment date & time, to the service tech, everyone was polite, low key & professional. Luke called before he arrived, explained our options well & gained our trust. We were very comfortable in making a decision on a new opener, the brand, style and add ons. Five stars don't do you justice!! My tech today was Joshua Hink. He had to replace two springs on my two car garage door, one of which was broken. Since both springs were 18 years old, he recommended replacement of 7 year warranty springs. A professional job done in less than an hour, and he did arrive prior to the assigned appointment. Great job and fantastic service from Precision! Will ALWAYS ask for Josh the next time. Thanks Precision for your outstanding service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PRECISION FOR ALL YOU GARAGE DOOR NEEDS!!

Went to Precision web-site. Link you-tube video. Watched video covered possible reason (4) for door opener failure. Online chat with Ashley, about the door opener light blinking. Door, failed to open. Booked for tech to visit our home next work week-day between 4 to 8 Post-Meridiem. Two Precision work truck drove upon my Lane. Two personnel, with N-95 mask on, came through the garage side door. They brought in work lights. Our garage hurricane-impact door and door opener, were non-operational. The garage door failure, were the support hardware. You know; rollers, springs, casters, ball bearings, door track wheels, cable links, bearing plates, forks, pulleys, hinges, strut truss rod, anchors and safety that prevent the door from falling upon anyone under it when out of balance. There were Three possible hardware Repair Estimate - 1. $925 GOOD -Basic Hardware good springs warranty- 2. $1,425 BETTER -Better Hardware better steel springs warranty- 3. $1,648 BEST -Best Hardware best steel springs longer warranty. Asked John, to review all three estimate with my wife over our phone and then hand the phone back to me, for us to discuss BETTER or BEST. Better or Best, have the same pound-per-steel springs. Life wear usage makes them $200 apart. We choose longer Life wear. Best warranty. Both tech carry the hardware between their two trucks, working well past 4 P.M. into September 27 evening. Staying at their task, this homeowner Veteran, remain outside operating his front yard sprinkler zones, during their garage door and door opener, repair. Finally, the garage door began to move up the track. Technical balance, center load mount replacement and smooth nearly silent door operation, were the result by John (A) and his tech aide from the second truck. John, sat in his truck to complete the work order and invoice. Then followed this Veteran, into the garage into the home for full payment.

I am very disappoint as to how my situation was handled. I was told that the door springs could be repaired/replaced (going up and down unevenly). Tech then cut the cords and started dismantling the door structure only then for him to come back to me to state that they don't have the correct size springs, would never have those, and now they have to re-build the entire door for close to $2,000. The door was now not able to operate and the tech had no solution except to now charge me a huge amount $ and to rebuild it the way he mentioned initial that he wanted to do, and described as "the new way for doors to operate" at the very start of this appt. He wanted to then leave me with an non operating door for another day. I felt FORCED to pay this huge unexpected amount of money for something that was not agreed upon to begin with. IT WAS A SWTICH UP SCAM. Again, he told me he could fix my door as it should have been, replacing the springs, but then after taking it all apart and the door not working now, IT ALL CHANGED. This felt very much like a scam and I warn others to be aware of this type of sale technique and scam by this company. I should have used someone else!! I suggest you do so!!!

Where should I start? Travis Dobson arrived on time and provided us with great feedback on our broken spring, the quality of our existing garage door, and possible options. We felt so confident with Travis that we asked him to replace not only the spring but our chain garage door opener (with a belt type). Replacing the bearings and the gasket/door seal seemed to be a good idea as well. And no added weekend service fee certainly didn’t hurt. We are so pleased with our quiet door. It used to sound like a dungeon door was being opened and closed. The new openers and keypad work great too!

The name was how I chose Precision Door to fix my garage door opener. Hit by a jolt of lightning, it was a stressful time as there was other damages as well. James was totally calm and thoroughly patient at the time, waiting while I dealt with other repairmen. I didn’t have to wait days for the the repair and he was on time. When he left, he left the area clean. For me, the calm he presented helped me with my stress level…I felt comfortable with him and five star satisfied with his work.

We called Precision to check our garage doors in a home we just moved into. We also had them program new garage door openers for us. The technician was friendly and on-time. I was having trouble getting my garage door down so called for an estimate. Was told about 750.00 to replace the opener and another 950.00 to replace the installation in the wall above the door itself. Too high in my eyes so I went for a second opinion. That company replaced the opener circuit board for 240.00. I guess working on commission justifies hiking up the price three-fold. NOT FOR ME.
