But after being struck three times it was time for a new one and I got good advice on a hurricane resistive door. 2 days later the door was installed by Corbin and Chase. New to Florida, we were in need of garage door repair as our old door was showing signs of failure. We received 3 estimates and found Precision Door not the least expensive, however, research let me know I would receive a better quality door for about the same as a less quality product. Precision offered more options with next day install, other companies with less options were 6 to 12 weeks out. Precision door techs were out on time as discussed, even showed up right after a hurricane passed our area! During the old door removal, it was quick to see our old door was about to fail, the panels fell apart. A few hours later, we had a great looking door, more secure, very clean installation, clean work area by clean, polite, and professional installers. A few weeks later, I had an issue with the operation of the door, again, same day as call a technician showed up. The issue was, I had bumped the door latch causing the door to not open properly, operator error on my part. The Tech quickly located the issue, lubed up the door and all is well. A neighbor was impressed with the quick work and called Precision to have his door repaired. Again, the tech shoed up same day to troubleshoot. Amazing enough, the repair was made that evening. We now have two more clean, quiet and well performing garage doors on the street. Great service, professional team, excellent service and superior products.

I was charged $1040 for a new opener installed couple of days ago. Then I googled on that same opener and found out it costs only under $300 I Home Depot. I called them today and expressed a concern that I was charged excessive amount and felt like I was taken advantage off. The manager of customer service, without too many questions, returned $500 to my card. I couldn’t believe it. I am really a happy customer and recommend them to my family and friends, thank you precision.

Went to Precision web-site. Link you-tube video. Watched video covered possible reason (4) for door opener failure. Online chat with Ashley, about the door opener light blinking. Door, failed to open. Booked for tech to visit our home next work week-day between 4 to 8 Post-Meridiem. Two Precision work truck drove upon my Lane. Two personnel, with N-95 mask on, came through the garage side door. They brought in work lights. Our garage hurricane-impact door and door opener, were non-operational. The garage door failure, were the support hardware. You know; rollers, springs, casters, ball bearings, door track wheels, cable links, bearing plates, forks, pulleys, hinges, strut truss rod, anchors and safety that prevent the door from falling upon anyone under it when out of balance. There were Three possible hardware Repair Estimate - 1. $925 GOOD -Basic Hardware good springs warranty- 2. $1,425 BETTER -Better Hardware better steel springs warranty- 3. $1,648 BEST -Best Hardware best steel springs longer warranty. Asked John, to review all three estimate with my wife over our phone and then hand the phone back to me, for us to discuss BETTER or BEST. Better or Best, have the same pound-per-steel springs. Life wear usage makes them $200 apart. We choose longer Life wear. Best warranty. Both tech carry the hardware between their two trucks, working well past 4 P.M. into September 27 evening. Staying at their task, this homeowner Veteran, remain outside operating his front yard sprinkler zones, during their garage door and door opener, repair. Finally, the garage door began to move up the track. Technical balance, center load mount replacement and smooth nearly silent door operation, were the result by John (A) and his tech aide from the second truck. John, sat in his truck to complete the work order and invoice. Then followed this Veteran, into the garage into the home for full payment.

Precision is the best! They called ahead so we knew they were on their way, arrived on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, fixed it Lickety-split and we are up working again. What a great group of workers and company!

I am very disappoint as to how my situation was handled. I was told that the door springs could be repaired/replaced (going up and down unevenly). Tech then cut the cords and started dismantling the door structure only then for him to come back to me to state that they don't have the correct size springs, would never have those, and now they have to re-build the entire door for close to $2,000. The door was now not able to operate and the tech had no solution except to now charge me a huge amount $ and to rebuild it the way he mentioned initial that he wanted to do, and described as "the new way for doors to operate" at the very start of this appt. He wanted to then leave me with an non operating door for another day. I felt FORCED to pay this huge unexpected amount of money for something that was not agreed upon to begin with. IT WAS A SWTICH UP SCAM. Again, he told me he could fix my door as it should have been, replacing the springs, but then after taking it all apart and the door not working now, IT ALL CHANGED. This felt very much like a scam and I warn others to be aware of this type of sale technique and scam by this company. I should have used someone else!! I suggest you do so!!!

Moved into a new house and garage door wouldn't open. Door opener was also broken. Called Precision because reviews were all positive. John came out and evaluated the problems. Door hardware was a mess and needed a new opener. After about two and a half hours of replacing everything but the door, everything is working great. Thanks John.

The 24/7 was terrific because my repair was on Sunday 6/14/2020 and was a total replacement of the drive motor, chain drive and springs. My serviceman was John Tsangarinos and he did a VERY GOOD job of replacing the above parts. The operation of the garage door is very smooth AND quiet. Started the morning off to a garage door that wouldn't open. I haven't used a front door key to the house in years and had no idea where one was. Called Precision Garage Door and they had me scheduled within hours. A short time after the actual tech called me to confirm he would be there. John T arrived on time.... took a few moments and identified a broken spring. Upon further inspection he pointed out some other issues to me that were just disturbing....whether it was the previous owner or subpar original installation, my garage door was a mess and unsafe.
