The technician who serviced my garage doors was excellent — prompt, professional, kind, and very thorough. The quality of the actual work is not my issue. My concern is with the company’s pricing practices. I was charged over $7,000 for work on two residential garage doors. After reviewing the invoice line-by-line afterward and comparing it to standard residential pricing for similar work, many of the components appeared to be priced dramatically above normal market rates. The total was several thousand dollars higher than what comparable work typically costs. When I raised concerns, management initially seemed receptive and stated they did not want me to feel taken advantage of. I provided a detailed breakdown of the pricing discrepancies and attempted to resolve the matter privately, but after that, communication largely stopped and no meaningful resolution was offered. I understand paying a premium for same-day service and warranties, but there is a significant difference between premium pricing and excessively inflated pricing. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to carefully review every line item and obtain comparative quotes before authorizing work.

They fixed my garage door but very over priced. They ended up replacing the eye part sensor and tightened a few screws but cost me over 1K. I wouldn't use them again.

Somewhat pleased with Precession Door product and installation but disappointed with my auto not being matched to new opener and loss of new light bulb . Didn't realize bulbs are as important replacements until i read manual.

I used them several times now and I have never had issues with their work not holding up, but they will try to upsell you on a new garage door every single time they come out and they’re almost always condescending when it comes to women. This is on multiple occasions. This was not a one off situation.

I chose Precision Garage Door because they installed my door several years ago. They never told me I needed to grease some parts twice a year. A gentleman came same day to fix the broken spring and replace rollers on my door so that it would close. The fix, which was quite expensive, lasted 3 days and then the garage door would not close again. One of the rollers would not work. I will call again and have them come back out and fix it.

As I have an ill husband it was imperative I have the door operational you arrived quickly and at the time promised. I am an older woman and Keith was respectful which is unusual for contractors in my experience. I would like to rehire for further work on my door but I will do more research for a more competitive price when I'm not under pressure. I thought for the time required and supplies $434.00 was excessive.

Tech was Great, only issue that we found your pricing to be extremely high, I have 2nd home in upstate NY and had the same thing done, 2 Springs, bearings replaced by " Overhead Garage Company" and was charged $635.00 you charge $1200

We called because we thought the belt was loose. He tightened the spring which appears to have fixed the problem. The only issue I have is the price. I think $200 to tighten a spring is exorbitant.

Service man was very pleasant. Repair was stupid-expensive. $300/spring, parts and labor…are you kidding? Will shop around next time.

Pros: Can on a Sunday, Technician was polite friendly and knowledgeable, Work was done quickly and appears to have been done correctly. Con: I feel the parts prices were way over priced.

First thing I want to say is that my technician, Joshua Figueroa definitely gets 5 stars from me. He was very knowledgeable, upfront with me and answered all of my questions. The cost is what through me off a bit. Got new springs put in, a center bracket and 2 brackets for the sides. Total cost was 865. When looking at the invoice, $80 for a ball bearing, $180 for a left and right bearing plate and 135 for a reinforcement bracket seems extremely marked up to me. Great work but I'll definitely be looking for a cheaper option the next go around.

Service was good, but we though that the price was too high for what the repairman did.also he was not wearing a Mask. Also there a part that he did repair, claiming The patt was not available.

Prompt service. Tech was knowledgeable and courteous. Completed work in a timely manner. I felt the service was way overpriced, but what are you going to do when the spring breaks. 3 stars only because of overpriced.

My neighbors had service performed by Precision Door and they were quite happy, that is why I called for service. Making an appt. was easy. The associate on the phone was very pleasant. There was a follow up email to my appt. The tech - Jose called prior to showing up which was great and he showed up on the time he said. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. However, my opener was to old to be fixed. He quoted me a very high price which is when I had informed him I saw openers on their website for $349.00, not the $565.00 he had quoted me. He looked on his website and said I was correct. He didn't know about this special offering. It wasn't a Liftmaster opener which I saw Precision handled. He told me this Linear unit is 1-year warranty on the entire unit - motor, parts and labor. Their Liftmasters were a lot more money. That is when I declined and informed him that Banko Garage Doors had the Liftmaster opener for $375.00 with a 4-year warranty on the motor and 1-year on all the other parts and labor. He said they can't match Banko's price and I should buy it from Banko. I thanked him for his time. That is why I gave Precision a 3-Star Rating. Their intent of customer service was very good, however they weren't competitive with their openers as a brand name.

I called Precision because garage motor was not opening or closing garage. Technician was professional, arrived timely, identified that is what a worn out belt quickly, and replaced it with a new belt in about 30 minutes. The only reason I am rating the experience a 3 is because of price. They charged me $234.70 for approximately 30 minutes of work. I estimate the replacement belt cost them no more than $40 so that leaves $195 for labor, fuel and tax which is high for 30 minute service call.

The technician showed up the same day, right on time. Got to work immediately, and was finished in about an hour. Respectful, and honest. My only complaint is the price was more than double the ballpark figure I was quoted over the phone.

Permit was needed for door, but other than that great service
