The technician who serviced my garage doors was excellent — prompt, professional, kind, and very thorough. The quality of the actual work is not my issue. My concern is with the company’s pricing practices. I was charged over $7,000 for work on two residential garage doors. After reviewing the invoice line-by-line afterward and comparing it to standard residential pricing for similar work, many of the components appeared to be priced dramatically above normal market rates. The total was several thousand dollars higher than what comparable work typically costs. When I raised concerns, management initially seemed receptive and stated they did not want me to feel taken advantage of. I provided a detailed breakdown of the pricing discrepancies and attempted to resolve the matter privately, but after that, communication largely stopped and no meaningful resolution was offered. I understand paying a premium for same-day service and warranties, but there is a significant difference between premium pricing and excessively inflated pricing. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to carefully review every line item and obtain comparative quotes before authorizing work.

Two years ago my garage door in New Port Richey Florida had an issue. I called them to please help. A smiling man looks at the single car garage issue and he prepared an estimate of $2.500 to replace 2 springs with one. I said NO WAY… HE SAID LET ME CALL MY OFFICE TO SEE WHAT CAN WE DO. In less than 2 minutes he said we can do it for $1.500. I said ok go ahead. After he was gone I called a couple of more places and they gave me an estimate of $400 to $500 to do the same job. I called back Precision, a very nice young man apologized, saying we are sorry this shouldn’t have happened. I was 76 when it happened and he said if that was my father I’ll be very upset they did try to rip him off like that. So just send us a check for $150 and we’ll be fine. Yet although I asked him to send me a new invoice with that amount they never did. Stay away from them, TV commercials they have on TV sound good but if they can they will rip you off.

Aaron Whiteman was out to service our garage door. It was making a clicking noise when it shuts. We use the door alot during the day, its constantly going up/down. Aaron explained that using it so much just adds to the springs twisting up/down and adds additional wear and tear on them. He said this was characteristics of the spring ready to break. The door is under warranty, but he couldn't replace it under warranty unless it was broke. I understand this, it makes sense. It was nice to have a service man be honest with you and tell you what you can expect. Aaron did try to quiet the noise, which he did some. I'm sure we will be seeing Precision again in the future, when it breaks. Thanks Aaron for being up front with us instead!

What a fantastic experience! I called around 9:30am on Sunday, tech got scheduled between 10-2. Got a call just before 10 and the tech was on their way. Within 2 hours I had 2 springs replaced and the giant bar replaced. Our tech was knowledgeable, kind, and very professional. He presented different options, was not pushy about upgrades (which was super nice), and efficient. Thank you Precision for everything!

The response time was FAST! I tried to open my garage door one morning and - nope - it aged out! My technician John was here quickly and spent time and care ensuring all repairs/replacements of failing parts were installed and tested after. His explanation of everything was great! This is the second time I have used Precision (different issues - many years apart) - and I did not hesitate calling them for this new...concern. Highly recommend! Quick response time - straight talk - reasonable prices - more importantly - CUSTOMER ORIENTED! second time i've used precision within 10 yrs and both times have been absolutely a positive experience. Just had Isak come out and do a repair on our garage door which required two torsion springs, and cable replacements also, reset all the sensitivity controls for the garage door opener..
