I have used Precision Overhead Garage Doors for over 14 years. Yesterday my garage doors would not open or close. The motor was working and the chain moved but the connection between the motor arm and the chain would not hold. I thought I looked at the sensors. I checked to ensure nothing was blocking them. My garage door wouldn't open and made a loud rattling noise. It also wouldn't close during sunset because the sunlight was interfering with the sensors. From seeing all the tv commercials about Precision, I decided to give them a call last night. I didn't expect for someone to actually answer my call in the late evening but they did and sounded so pleasant on the phone and scheduled my repair for today. After dealing with an incompetent company, the next time I had a garage door problem, I called Precision. I had seen their ad on TV and also in the newspaper. In May 2017 they replaced the 1 spring with 2 springs; in June 2019 they replaced the garage door opener; this time, there was a problem with the door not always closing. Chad Donovan came and immediately saw that the sensors were slightly off and straightened them. He also explained that the sun shining on the sensors could have caused the problem. In addition, he explained how the red light and the green lights on the sensors work. Chad was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and practiced the social distancing guidelines.
